The Renaissance-style Metquarter building was Liverpool’s General Post Office and was one of the grandest post offices in the country. The building was converted into the Metquarter in 2006.


The new premium leisure, dining and retail offer has taken inspiration from Queensberry’s sister building, the Corn Exchange in Manchester.


The most obvious changes will be at the Victoria Street entrance, restaurant terraces will be added to animate the exterior of the building.

Boutique cinema chain, Everyman, will have three screens and a mezzanine level overlooking the shops.
