At K2, we’re always looking for ways to push ourselves and get better at what we do. This autumn, our team took a big step forward by completing several RIBA Academy courses, which have deepened our expertise and broadened our approach.
Over the last six weeks, our team delved into some essential topics, including Access Consultancy, Conservation, and the responsibilities of Principal Designers (CDM and Building Regulations). These areas might sound a bit technical, but they’re crucial to how we approach design – making sure we follow the rules, preserve what’s important, and create spaces that everyone can use and enjoy.
The courses weren’t just about checking boxes – they’ve really enhanced our perspective. These fresh insights will help us continue to push boundaries and raise the bar in every aspect of our work – delivering designs that are not just functional but also sustainable, innovative, and inclusive.
