The Camden Building project consolidates Runcorn’s digital and skills agenda into a single destination, creating a new hub for collaborative learning, creative enterprise, and community-focused business.
Client
Halton Borough Council
The Camden Building Project, funded by the Town Deal, proposes consolidating Runcorn’s digital and skills agenda into a single destination, as an enabler to develop a creative centre, for community-focused businesses delivering a new type of collaborative learning and workspace.
The atmosphere of the Camden Building will be composed of distinctive themes that utilise a style that reaches out into nature and embraces natural materials. A winter garden running full height behind the largely retained façade of number 59 has greenery throughout to emphasise the important benefits to people’s health and well-being.
