With the new academic year just around the corner, we’re proud to mark practical completion of LJMU’s City Square Project on Tithebarn Street.

Over the summer, the 24,000 sq ft fourth floor has been transformed into flexible, high-quality teaching and student spaces with panoramic views across Liverpool’s skyline. Whilst the Henry Cotton redevelopment takes place, these facilities will provide a temporary home for the Faculty of Health and the Faculty of Innovation, Technology and Science.
Sustainability at the heart of the project:
– 90% of furniture repurposed from across the LJMU estate
– Reused doors, frames, and computers
– Energy-efficient LED lighting and smart building systems
A fantastic example of collaboration and sustainable design in action – creating inspiring, future-ready spaces for students and staff.
